This policy explains how Westace uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on westace-casino.fr. We set essential cookies to keep the site working, analytics cookies to understand how you use it, and advertising cookies to show relevant offers. You control which of the optional ones you accept.

Cookies in plain terms

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a site. It remembers your preferences, keeps you logged in, and helps us see which pages are popular. Some cookies expire when you close your browser; others stay until you delete them or they reach their expiry date.

We use session cookies to maintain your navigation state and persistent cookies to remember your consent choices and language preference. Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for the duration stated in the table below.

What is stored and for how long

Category Purpose Duration
Necessary Site functionality, login state, language Session / 12 months
Analytics Page views, session length, device type 24 months
Marketing Advertising preferences, campaign tracking 12 months
Preference Layout choices, saved filters 6 months

Necessary cookies cannot be switched off without breaking core features such as secure login and consent management. The other categories require your consent, which you give through the banner that appears on your first visit.

Necessary cookies

These keep the site operational. They store your session identifier, remember which cookie categories you accepted, and apply your language choice across pages. Without them you would need to log in again on every page, and the site would forget your consent decision.

Analytics cookies

We use these to see which sections are visited most, how long sessions last, and which devices people use. The data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Declining analytics cookies means we cannot improve the site based on usage patterns, but every feature still works.

Marketing and advertising cookies

These track which promotions you clicked and help us show offers that match your interests. Third-party advertising networks may set their own cookies when you see an ad on our site. You can decline this category in the consent banner.

Preference cookies

These remember layout settings, saved filters, and display modes you choose. Declining them resets those choices to the site default on each visit.

Embedded third parties

Some pages embed content from external providers — analytics scripts, advertising networks, and payment processors. Each of those services may set its own cookies, governed by that provider's policy rather than ours. We do not control what those third parties collect, and we recommend reading their privacy policies if you want detail.

When you interact with embedded content such as a video player or a social-media widget, that provider may track your activity on this site. Declining marketing cookies in the banner blocks some of those scripts, though essential ones for payment processing and fraud prevention remain active.

Declining without breaking the site

The consent banner appears on your first visit and lets you accept all categories or customise your choice. You can change your decision at any time by opening the consent manager in the footer.

If you decline analytics and marketing cookies, the site still loads normally — you can browse, read reviews, and follow links without restriction. What stops working is our ability to track which pages perform well and which ads are relevant to you.

You can also block cookies at the browser level. Here is how to do it in the four most common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data → Block third-party cookies, or Block all cookies.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → select Standard, Strict, or Custom blocking.
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Block all cookies, or Prevent cross-site tracking.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data → Block third-party cookies.

Blocking all cookies at the browser level prevents the site from remembering your login and consent choices. The safest middle ground is to block third-party cookies and accept first-party ones.

Updates

We update this policy when we add a new tracking script or change how long cookies are stored. The effective date appears at the bottom of the page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

We do not notify you individually about minor changes. Significant updates — such as a new analytics provider — are announced in the consent banner when you next visit.
